If you used Fatty Rumpkins or the Schwalbe tires that are around 42mm you could be pretty good on that size frame. I have a 52 Bombadil and with a 83 PBH there is plenty of clearance with Rumpkins or Marathons. Plenty of clearance like over 2 inches. If you are not going to use it as a mountain bike but more as a rough-and-tumble touring bike or an around towner then it is a great frame to go a little big on. Beautiful paint and a great price.
