Without going into too much detail... here's a northsider's perspective: There's a couple amazing bike collections worth checking out on display at Cycle Smithy and Oscar Wastyn. Yojimbo's Garage is the premier track/fixie shop, with The Bike Lane a close second. Tati Cycles is an enigma I haven't quite figured out...
I'd say that Boulevard Bikes is the most Bobish, and is worth visiting if you want service done or to see more "obscure" retail objects things like honjo fenders, BQ magazine, berthoud bags, and Handsome Bikes.
