And so the San Diego storage area continues to giveth, and the Australia

*Shimano 105 Rear Derailleur RD-1050:* Used but not abused, average
cosmetic but very good functional condition. Indexes up to 8 speed, easily
shifts up to a 28T, allegedly able up to shift 32T, but I’ve never tried;
see VeloBase entry here:
http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=8bb46071-2b7c-4e74-b10b-a5cfcc1078dd.
$25.00, or $45.00 package deal with the 105 crankset below

*Shimano 105 Road Double Crankset FD-1050:* 172.5mm crank arms, 130 BCD.
Originally Bio-Pace but accepts standard chainrings. Average cosmetic
condition, nothing outstanding in any respect, just some good ol’ square
taper forged cranks. $25.00, or $45.00 package deal with the 105 derailleur
above

*Power Grips:* Black in color. Bought these from Riv a couple of years ago,
opened the hardware baggie, realized my pedals lacked proper drilling for
mounting then, then put it all away, scratched my head, and probably had a
celebratory beer. As new, nothing missing, all in the original packaging.
$20.00

*Nitto Moustache Bars:* 26.0 clamp, heat treated, blah blah. Previous owner
somehow shoehorned these into a 25.4 stem clamp, which probably did more
damage to his stem on the way in, but pretty well gouged the left side of
the bar sleeve on the way out. Some tape remnants and other scratches, so
works great but looks otherwise. Here’s your chance to see if Moustache
bars are right for you without wincing when you reach for the wallet. $35.00

*On-One Midge Bars:* 25.4 clamp? Whatever isn’t the 31.8 clamp. These are
about 6 years old, from back before On-One offered them in silver. I had my
buddy the machinist polish the black finish off the middle third of the
bar, i.e. from the area roughly between the hoods, so you see polished
silver under the clamp and the tops, but everything underneath where tape
would go is still black. I’d call the finished product a solid B. Used, so
bar and cable tape residue abound. $20.00

*Random Cool Three (Four?) Piece Seatpost:* 27.0, so good for oddball
‘80s-‘90s frames. Silver, 250mm shaft length, plenty of scratches but
totally functional. Funky overbuilt design reminiscent of something
Cunningham might turn out (note: not a Cunningham). I can’t really explain
the mechanics of this seatpost adequately, but suffice it to say that it’s
a multi-piece unit with a removable hinged piece which allows pert near
infinite adjustment. Not sure how to measure setback correctly, but the
front of the clamp is basically perpendicular to the center line of the
post shaft. $15.00

*Woody’s Flat Wood Fenders:* 700c, possibly bubinga? Walnut? Not sure, I’m
not the first owner, but have a look on Cody’s site and see:
http://www.woodysfenders.com/. Owing to large, weird dimensions: $50.00, or
$30.00 if picked up from San Diego, CA 92128

*Avocet Touring II Saddle:* Beat up, straight up. Surprisingly, it’s still
fully intact. Put it on your winter whipping post and don’t look back (or
down). $12.00

*Selle San Marco Rolls Saddle:* Circa ‘80s. White perforated. OK, off white
perforated. Gold rails and badges. Scuffs, scrapes, dirt. Considering its
age and time served under rider, presents in the southerly side of C. Why
not? $20.00
