Hillbubba revealed a modification of the Grip King pedals on this list a while back, and a few lucky folks got the early batch of prototypes. I was one, and finally modified the Grip Kings that came on my Mystery Bike over the weekend. The mod makes an already great pedal well nigh perfect. For those of us with wide feet, the GK's can sometimes lack support for the outside of the foot, but Bill's modification (designed and created by Bill's dad) solves that problem, still leaves excellent cornering clearance, increases flexibility for foot positioning on the platform, and generally makes it about the best pedal ever, IMHO. With all the hoopla about the new Thin Gripster, the old GK still has some life left.
