Hello all, I am trying to figure out a basket mounting solution for a bike of mine. Has anyone tried a Mark's rack attached to fork dropout eyelets?
The bike in question is a CB0 that I have been setting up for a short time. I want to mount the Mark's with clamps to the top of my unicrown fork and with the long stays the riv sells to the top eyelets on my fork. Has anyone tried something like that? Maybe mounted an MR with a four point attachment to the threaded bosses on the Bomba fork crown plus the dropout eyelets? My concern is that the long stays with bend easily or be in the way on the front of a bus rack. I like the Mark's rack because it is short unlike the R14 which has a similar setup. Thanks JL I don't have a Mark's rack yet but I did recently acquire a nitto big front rack for the same bike - but the fit wont work. It is up for sale.
