So I've been riding around on a used tandem I got for me and the stoker quite a bit. It's an older santana and we've converted it over from the drops to a more upright posture. I put on a pair of incredibly cheap dimension arc bars ($14) and a set of ergon grips and it is disconcertingly comfortable. I like the grips, I like the position I end up in on the bars and I'm thinking.... I could do this on the hilsen, convert it over to a 1x9 and keep the rom for go-fasty (well, go less slow-y).
