Does anyone add suspension stems or seatposts to Rivendells? Long ago,
pre-Rivendell, I used a Softride plus an early (CODA) suspension seatpost
on a conventional mountain bike and found the setup very comfortable on
washboard -- hard, 35 psi 1.95 tires, of course. I hear the Thudbuster is
good. I probably would not bother for my current offroad bike, the Fargo,
but if I ever set up a dedicated mountain bike, I would consider a
suspension stem and good suspension seatpost -- but would not want the
complexity and weight of a fork or rear suspension -- I think.
