Interesting: I ended up several years ago in trade with a Candybar-like bag
made by a listmember (forget if it was this or the Bob list) that is about
15% bigger than the CB bag but otherwise built on exactly the same pattern,
down to the branch in place of dowel. A very useful bag that has been
mounted on bars, on racks, and most often on saddles and is big enough to
carry the extended off-road kit for the Fargo including two pairs of tubes
for the Kojak and the Big Apple wheelset.

I can't say that I am a huge fan of bar bags, having tried many including a
couple of customs, but this Candybar-type design is a keeper.
