As someone who had to visit the terminal ward in the hospital for a few
years when my father in law was dying from I can attest that anything to
brighten up the room or mood can be a huge lift.  I have some vintage NYC
post cards I got recently, will do my best with a bike pic (I am an awful
artist).  Like Grant I would recommend Hitchen's book to anyone dealing
with losing a loved one to cancer, though he (Hitchens) would not have
wanted anyone's "prayers", all things considered.  But all politics aside,
great idea from G-man.
