As to searching the archives, go back a couple of years (maybe more?) to a thread entitield "Is the Ram the perfect bike" or may have been "...perfect Riv". It was quite extensive, lively and really full of good stuff about not only the Ram but lots of Rivs. As I recall, it got into lots of detail about subtle differences.
