I agree with bingomck. I paid in that range for my Bleriot FFHS, for a FF that originally sold for $750 (list price, anyway). I think other buyers do what I did: Look at the Riv model they want, and at the price. If they don't want to or can't spring for new, they look to CL or the 'bay and expect to save some money, while still being willing to pay a substantial price. It seems logical that as the price of new Rivs increases, it will drive the prices of discontinued models up. After all, I don't think there are any "less desirable" Rivs out there, only some that you would rather have than others. And it goes without saying, but I'm saying it: you will occasionally come across a super deal. Hope it's in your size and that you have the cash. My two cents, Steve
