These fit me well who have feet on the cusp of 44/45. I used them for
a season with clips 'n' straps but they really need cleats (single
bolt; in one the bolt has sheared off) or a new, vibram sole, or need
to be adapted to SPD.
I forget what I paid for these, so let's just say $50 shipped OBO,
with the "OBO" in 32 pt type, bold and italic. All reasonable offers
considered. Trade offers welcome.
Note that the binding around the ankle is cracked, but the leather is
good and so is the fleece, and the sole is not separating at any point
from the upper.
I called them my "Elf boots" because the toes do stick up a bit, but
that didn't make them feel weird when in use.
"[The Sunday School Superintendent's] boot toes were turned sharply
up, in the fashion of the day, like sleigh- runners -- an effect
patiently and laboriously produced by the young men by sitting with
their toes pressed against a wall for hours together." Tom Sawyer
These are ready to rock and roll.
