I measured my wife's Dove bar. They rise about 4cm, they reach about 21cm, and tip to tip width is about 51cm. i like the sneaker pedal a lot, but it is a little slippery in the wet. I also like cheap bmx pedals with spikes for traction like this: http://www.rei.com/product/752200/wellgo-atb-bmx-pedal.
