Not much to explain. You just need a 1" threadless headset. The VO Grand Cru is a great one for the money. There aren't many 1" threadless stems around unless you have a builder make you one or you get the nitto ones. Either way that is quite a bit of $. I know there are ~$30 black Kelly ones on ebay that people seem to like. Limited stock though.
