Yes, it's hard to beat the noodle bar for allround comfort. I have them on a homer and am very happy with the choice. On Grant's recommendation, I went with a 44cm noodle, rather than my usual 40 cm bars. If I remember correctly, he said "only Japanese women ride 40cm bars"!
