As I'd mentioned, Brian the Bike Locally Challenger (info here - http://bikelocally.wordpress.com/category/2012-challenge-winner/brian-jones and here - http://www.marinbike.org/Campaigns/BikeLocally/Challenge.shtml ) has some unique challenges when it comes to fitting him on a bike. I'd had some stuff to pick up at RBW, so offered to take him over to be measured, fitted and shown what kinds of useful bikes can be fitted to him. He got the "stump treatment" and Keven pulled the tape out to 102 cm, which puts him into the range of 71 Hilsen or 68 Hunqua/Hillborne sized frames.
Took some photos, but I'll admit I was playing around on a variety of frames myself. Once again grateful to Keven who was superb at talking about differences and preconceptions of fit, position and use. Gave Brian a lot to think about. Huge thanks to the gang at RBW (and the poster is pretty danged stunning...). some photos - only of bikes. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cyclofiend/sets/72157630407224566/ - Jim / cyclofiend.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
