I was in a similar situation a few months ago while riding a 200k brevet (hosted by the SFR in case anyone's interested). The dude's bike had very little space around the rear triangle and 1 of his 24 spokes on his rear wheel broke. Fortunately for him, I'm fairly handy in bicycle mechanics and had the correct spoke wrench. I made a few adjustments to make the wheel rideable and away we went! He got his wheel fixed enough to ride to the nearest bike shop and I had a nice excuse for a break (which I needed! LOL).
I don't know if Topeak still sells this spoke wrench but I carry this on my key ring as it weighs nothing. http://www.flickr.com/photos/deanlung/2930440829/ On Jul 1, 1:36 pm, Michael Hechmer <mhech...@gmail.com> wrote: > Very nice ride today.
