I had no idea how (seemingly) crazy expensive pro framing is. I was quoted $150-300 depending on how fancy by a local frame shop.
I'd really like to split the middle between museum-quality display and thumbtacks in the wall... what are the options? I really like William's idea of frameless mounting on inch thick sturdy stuff. Anybody have similarly less costly options?
