I've picked up a few pairs of Ibex Duo shorts on Ebay and used a thread puller from the sewing chest to remove the pads. I really like them with RBW wool boxers or wicking fitness base layers (no center bottom seam) from BCG or UnderArmor. Joneswares cycling shorts come without a chamois unless you specify adding one, but they seem to be taking a Rambouillet like nap at present.
