Admittedly I'm partial to bike bags. I like a variety of ways to carry stuff on my bike.
So I'm really hopeful that the low-rider (aka hub-area) rack and its associated bags mentioned in the latest blug entry make it to production. I've used a tubus tara for front pannier mounting. It is surprisingly light. But nothing can really make its bulk attractive. And it needs clamps to work well with the Hillborne fork. The rack depicted in the blug looks to be exactly what I'd like: small, light, silver, and designed so as to work with my fork. For me it doesn't need to carry 40 pounds or 40 liters. Presuming it's a true Sackville, I expect to be happy with the bag that would go with the rack depicted. Sackville front panniers... I never thought it'd happen. I sure hope it does.
