Lurked here for quite awhile now without actually owning a Rivendell, but a week or so ago I picked up an orange Sam Hillborne frame and fork courtesy Ray Shine (thanks!). Built it up in typical Riv fashion: Sugino XD2 triple, 8-speed 11-32, Synergy rims, Noodle bars (cork tape shellacked and twined), Silver friction shifters, and Tektro 559 brakes.
