Annoyingly enough, the police have been incredibly slow following up about this, and at this point I'd be pretty sure it has either been sold or otherwise disposed of. If anyone sees anything matching this description pop up again, an email or post on the list would be appreciated.
I'd take a guess that the ebay seller may have realized it was stolen and ended the auction early without a sale. No feedback has been posted on the transaction.
