I would think running them or at least one to the fork dropout to be
better at supporting weight. The rack is triangulated at the fork
crown bolt and the front rack strut to fork braze on......one going to
the fork drop out would better support a load going up and down.
Actually both going to the fork dropout would be best forming a longer
skinny triangle.....just sayin. Of course it might not look as nifty.
