I don't have a Rivendell, but I do have a Rivet. I like mine a lot too. I got it on a Monday and rode a 300K on Saturday the same week with two short rides in between. The leather is THICK and there is no sag or flaring at all. That was my problem with the SAA--way too of both. I know others love them. My B17 saddles have all begun to sag and flare out. I am very happy with my Rivet so far.
