This might not help much -- but -- if you can't find a Betty Foy, I have a 53 Bleriot in Arlington. (And I too have lusted for a Betty Foy.)

Hi all,
I'm new to this Group, and am thrilled to have found you all!
I'm writing to ask for your assistance in finding a Betty Foy to test
ride in the D.C. area.
I've been lusting over the Betty Foy for a while, but I'm concerned
about buying a bike without having tried it first, because it's a big
purchase for me. Ideally, I'd like to test ride a Betty Foy in my size
(5'3"), but any mixte Rivendell for a person about my size would be
great. Though I have a preference for drop-down noodle handlebars, I'd
still like to try out the Albatross.
My 70s, steel frame, mixte design Motobécane with drop-down noodle
handlebars has gotten very beat up and now needs such a serious
refurbish that it makes more sense to just get a new bike for my
commuting, errand and recreational riding (I don't have a car, so my
bike is my main transportation, year-round).
Thanks to anyone who can help!
Claude (I have a guy's name, but I'm a girl)
