Bunny hopping on a commuter is tough.  I'm retired now but I found the 
nearly constant road construction on my commute the single most challenging 
part of commuting.  It never gets mentioned in the encouraging blogs. 
 Sorry to read about the Foss tubes; I've had high hopes for mine.
