Just from chatting with the participants, I believe everyone on RRE 2012 could have ridden a perfectly suitable and very appealing non-Riv bike. Maybe we need to do a non-Riv Riv Rally!

I'm lucky to own some pretty awesome Non-RIV bikes, but I CAN tell you (with no hesitation) that RBW has had a profound impact on how I built up these bikes as well as fueling my passion for the bicycling lifestyle, in general. I suspect this is probably true of many Riv owners. I'm proud to be a Rivendell Owner, not just for owning and riding one of their extraordinary bicycles, but also for embracing the Rivendell philosophy of supporting all that is good and worthwhile in bicycling.
