Beautiful bike Forrest, thanks for sharing it. What is the thinking behind putting the Rodeo out without DT shifter braze ons? It's easy to convert these for BE or brifters, but impossible to add dt shifters after the fact. If I bought a Rodeo (unlikely although tempting), I would want to put dt shifters on it.
