I must say that the two wool cycling shorts I've worn (Swobo and
Kucharik) feel much more comfortable than the cling-wrap feel of the
lycra I abandoned some years ago; mostly because they are stretchier
and baggier and ride higher on one's torso, I guess. But I almost
never wear even these and don't even notice that my riding pants don't
have padding.

I suppose if you are riding a century or further, chamois is nice --
do any of you long distance riders forgo it?

+1 more for those (still on sale, L only) Nashbar cargo pants (I take
a M but the Ls work fine with belt and suspenders and I like the
additional room that allows me to pull them higher.

Patrick Moore, who rode back from church today with Palm Sunday
(Orthodox Church) branches sticking out from my jersey pocket --
justus florebit ut palma (but who stops at calling himself a justus).

Happy Easter to the rest of you.
