My recent history has led me to part with all my bikes that fit me like I'm
a bike racer. For normal road bikes, that means I've gone up 2-3cm, so
that means saying goodbye to a few bikes. I've come to grips with the fact
that complete bikes never get what they are worth on the second hand
market, and that the seller can make a ton more money parting bikes out.
That said, it would be a shame to part out a 1992 Bridgestone RB1 that is
98% stock. So I'll probably try to float this repeatedly before I resort
to taking it apart, even though taking it a part is clearly the best way to
get money out of it.

So, it's a time-capsule condition 1992 Bridgestone RB1, 56cm, Red. When I
acquired it from the original owner, he said 500 miles were on it. It had
the original handlebar tape even, and I could not dispute his claim. I've
ridden it about 500 miles myself. Stock items that are now gone are:
handlebar tape, chain, tires and tubes. That's it. Everything else is as
it came out of the box. Now the tape is blue Newbaums (clear shellac).
Tires are Roly poly 700x27(or so).

I'd like to get $700 plus shipping.

The logistical strings attached involve the location of the bike. It lives
in a vacation house in Central Illinois. It is not obvious when I will get
out there again. Probably not in 2012. It would be straightforward to
arrange local pickup anytime. It would be less straightforward to arrange
boxing and shipping. So, if this is the perfect thing for you, let me know
and we'll try to make something happen. My plan otherwise will be to ebay
it when I go to the midwest again.

I have a few photos. (Handlebar bag not included)
