Hey RBWs, Doing some spring cleaning and I've got a few things for sale that might be of some interest here:
1) Rivendell Baggins Adam saddlebag - $125 shipped CONUS Classic Baggins bag, in good shape but plenty of beusage. I bought this used and fairly quickly determined that it was about the same capacity as my Paladin bag which I slightly prefer. So time to pass it along. It didn't come with the 2 front leather straps and I never replaced them so those won't be included. The straps for the seat post and saddle are all present. Acorn sells leather straps that look like they'd work. The leather Baggins logo has a discolored line on it but I think with some leather polish it'd go away (that is to say none of the embossing is worn off). Original leather stapes are present. I always used a raincover with this bag and thus it is in very good shape. It includes a raincover which is. much more worn looking but still repelling moisture just fine. This is the best laptop carrying bag out there, with an internal, suspended waterproof sleeve that your laptop slides into (and can be removed - I'd often take this with me when doing non-bicycle traveling). Sleeve fits typical 15" laptops, I used it with two Apple laptops a 15" Titanium Powerbook and an 15" Alumininum MacBook Pro. This sprung saddle is nicely broken in but has years if not decades of life left in it. I bought this around 2005 I think and the leather seems a lot thicker then the most recent Brooks I bought. A great saddle but a little wide for my sit bones so I eventually switched to a b.17. I kept it proofhided (but not overly so) and used a cover in the rain, so it's in great shape.. Pictures can be seen here: <http://www.flickr.com/photos/35237104136@N01/tags/brooksb67/> All prices include shipping. Feel free to make offers. I'd also be willing to include any of these items in trade for a set of the old Baggins Pa Panniers in any sort of non-ripped condition.
