Up for sale is a modern classic road bike. I acquired this 1984 Trek 770
from the original owner off craigslist. I old off the original campy bits
through the usual channels to finance a much more contemporary Rivish
build. That bike helped convince me that my previous road bike was too
small for me and it convinced me that I wanted to run 700x28 tires (or
wider). Now that I've acquired a bike that will take wide tires and
fenders, I can let go of this classic bike. I'd love to sell it locally,
since it's so expensive to ship a bike. I'm asking $800. Shipping would
be extra, but I'll gladly deliver it in the Bay Area.

It's a 58cm Trek 770. Reynolds 531 standard diameter butted tubing. Campy
dropouts
Campy super record headset and seatpost
Stock avocet saddle
NOS Specialized sealed bearing hubs laced to contemporary Mavic Open Pro
silver rims, 32 hole DT spokes
7 speed NOS Sachs Aris FW 12-28
Maxxis 700x25 tires
Shimano 105 dual pivot brakes
Tektro R200 levers
Suntour retrofriction shifters
Suntour XC pro front der
Shimano XT short cage rear der
SRAM chain
Sugino XD2 double crankset 172.5mm 48/34. Cartridge BB
No pedals

Let me know if you have any questions. Pics here. As pictured, 75.5cm
seat height.
