First, the setting... I commute by bike. Commute bike is Bleriot, all done up with S&S couplers, generator hub/light, Honjo fenders, sweet new Racktime rack, little front rack, panniers...
I work at (but not FOR) Nike; my desk is in a building a long block off the main campus, about 1.5 miles from where I need to be to meet with my usability session participants. Clearly, I just ride over. Even if I didn't have my bike, Nike has a fleet of bicycles just for the purpose of moving one's self around. Bike parking is dead easy - anywhere you want, as long as it is not in the way. I take my bike everywhere I go, and NEVER have to lock it up. Today - usability session in the Mia Hamm building. Bike is parked along the outside window wall; I'm a few cubicles away. Toward the end of the session, some random stranger pokes his head in.... "Is that your bike? Wow!". :-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To post to this group, send email to rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com.
