I am delighted to say that I just purchased my first Rivendell bicycle. Dick Denning and his father, Dick Senior, with the Country Bike Shop, Celina, Ohio, met me part way (I live in Memphis, Tennessee) to deliver the bike. Photos here:

Dick was on top of things from beginning to end--even though I threw him a curve by switching my frame choice in the middle of things. My wife, who joined me for the pickup and fitting, was amazed at Dick's enthusiasm and expertise. (I was also, although my calls and emails had prepared me for our meeting.) Dick and his dad were great. I can't recommend them highly enough. (No, I don't own stock in the company.) :-) I've only had one ride so far--about 35 miles. Can't wait to get back on the bike.
