I posted this on the Lifestyles list, because it is slightly off topic for this one. I didn't get much response, so am reposting here:
I bought this rack two years ago and it is my first hitch rack. I really like the easy on and off for the bikes, which my wife appreciates even more. I like the safety, aero dynamics, & not having to think about pulling into the garage. But. Getting the rack to slide on and off the hitch is a major problem. I make sure to clean the connection whenever I use it, and often spry it with silicon. Nothing makes it easy. I've finally written to the mfg, but haven't heard back yet.
