Someone much more talented and with much more patience than I did a wonderful polishing job on a pair of old Dura Ace centerpulls* he sold or traded to me (they look identical to Tourneys except for the model name stamped in them). They really looked good, especially compared to the very rough original finish.
*I've been told that Shimano offered these for about six months in 1976, then decided to copy Campy instead of Mafac.
