Yeah, the Canti-Rom was an accident--miscommunication between Riv and
the builder.

Going by memory, the Rom was intended as a less expensive version of
the Rambouillet.  One color paint, slightly cheaper stays.  (not heat
treated?  single-butted? Not tapered?  Some small difference like
that)  I can't recall if maybe it had a slightly cheaper tubeset, too,
but it was a very similar frame and only weighed a tiny bit more than
the Rambouillet...
