FWIW, I rode along one fine day with the guy who started the Velocipede
Salon forum, he on a nice CF bike, me on my Riv Custom, w/  'dice hanging
from the saddle.

He could not have been more complimentary on how nice the bike looked.

That forum is filled w/ obnoxious frat-boy types, who practically put out a
contract on me when I suggested Curt Goodrich was screwing me by taking my
deposit and never responding to my inquiries on progress.

So like everything else there are a-holes and pretty good people in every
group.
