Hi Marc, Jeremy's correct. The "non-moosey" version will be handlebar only, like an Albatross, Mustache, or Noodle. So, if you've got a bike with, say, an Albatross bar and are considering replacing it with the "non-moosey" NewBar(or whatever it'll end up being called), the stem you've got on the bike now should work just fine.
I'm seriously considering replacing the Bullmoose bar on my Hunqapillar with the "moosey" version of the NewBar.
