He is starting to sound like a crotchety old man; and he's only 37 or so? I like him but I was surprised by the vehemence of his statements -- which I agree with, btw.
Can he be fundamentally serious under the surface of low comedy? Moving on: there are several interesting bike blogs by women; Lovely Bicycle is the best known but there are others worth reading (must find the urls) even if you discount those aimed at purely women's interests as clothing and so forth. I find the difference in perspective refreshing -- far, far less interest in kit and the minutiae of technology.
