I use a 64 Atlantis and 65 Homer. The two bikes fit very similarly because the Homer's top tube slopes up 1.5 degrees while the Atlantis's slopes up 2.5 degrees. That one degree of angle difference creates a stem height difference of almost exactly 1 cm. So the handlebar/seatlug relationship of the two bikes are almost identical. (Atlantis shows 1 cm more of seatpost.)
The toptubes are 62.5 cm on Homer and 62 cm on Atlantis. My comparison might be unique because it uses a 2001 Atlantis (tenth birthday repaint last year!) and on the Atlantis back then, the 64 cm frame came with a 62 cm toptube. The more recent 64's came with 60 cm toptubes. If I were comparing a 2006 64 cm Atlantis to a 65 cm Homer, I'm not sure if things would compare differently. Does your 61 cm Atlantis have the dimensions of today's Rivendell geometry charts? -Jim On Jan 6, 2012, at 6:02 PM, Michael Williams wrote: > Hey Group, I have a question for dual AHH and Atlantis owners.
