Thanks for the responses everyone! I think I'm leaning toward the Marathons (was somewhat leaning that way to begin with) but I am also interested in the Duremes. I would have thought the Dureme would be better on dirt than the supreme since Grant describes the Supreme as a "fat slick".
I'm also not committed to Schwalbe or Jack Browns and will give those Vittoria's a close look. That brand has come up a few times in researching tires and I know my LBS recommends the brand.
