Oh man, I just saw this thread. Terrible. I think Manny's Bleriot, in the many ride and camping threads in which it starred, gave me more vicarious enjoyment than any other bike. Like all of us, I'll miss it.
I once recovered a stolen bike by seeing it parked in front of a store (probably an unwitting purchaser), I hope the same good luck for you.
