Mike: Thanks for posting; I'm interested to see how they come out on your build. Like you, I bump my bar ends just often enough for it to be annoying. I even tried thumbies up on the tops for a while one time but didn't care for that. These could be the answer. Anything good enough for cyclocross is good enough for touring, and they have repair parts.
