Amit,
I highly recommend shipping your bike UPS or Fedex or whatever. It will be 
cheaper than buying some "vintage" Schwinn, and you'll have YOUR bike to 
ride. Taking it on a plane, even if it's free, is a hassle, with a lot of 
risk.
