This afternoon I glanced out my office window to see a young woman on a beautiful maroon Hunqapillar kitted out with touring racks and a giant basket. "Well that's cool," I thought. After walking down to the bank and the art store (to buy eggs of all things), I was stowing the eggs in the Quickbeam's basket and looked up to see the selfsame bike bike outside my workmate's office!
It turns out the Hunqaowner is a friend of my co-worker, and was like "You own the Quickbeam, don't you? I've kind of been stalking you for a while!" So we had a great time geeking out about bikes, and admiring baskets and racks and such, and talking about other Rivendells we've sighted in town, and how she'd ridden the Hunq across the country.
