He fought valiantly, backed by the best doctors using the latest medicines and the most advanced machines at a first-class facility, supported by a worldwide phalanx of prayer warriors. But in the face of overwhelming odds, none of it was enough. He went down swinging. We are heartbroken. The family would like to remain undisturbed for the rest of today, December 5, 2011."
