Hi, Mike, and everyone, Here's what we know for sure: We're not doing away with the 5% rebate in the form of a merchandise credit or the free shipping on orders over $150. How the rebate accrues and how quickly (sooner, not later) you may use it is under discussion.
We're also likely keeping the special birthday offer (10% off an order up to $300 on your birthday or the week just after it). What we might do, though, since the new software doesn't make it easy to do Membership Plan the old way is this: Some sort of one-time deal, like REI does. In other words, if you are a member now, or you have been, you will continue to be. We're working out something for the lifetime members, but that specific compensation hasn't been finalized.
