They are very light, very roomy--I've camped with two people and our bikes and gear inside the tent and still had space to cook--hold up well to all but the worst winds and weather, and are very versatile. Generally they work best by staking out the anchor points, but tying off to rocks, roots, and the like, works very nicely.
