I fooled with the barrel adjuster on the read derailer today. At first I went too far and messed up the shifting. Halfway back and now everything seems fine. Could that be it? I'd be grateful for an explanation. Meanwhile I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that the skipping doesn't come back.
